The Herb Farm

The ceremony and reception will be held at privately owned waterfront acreage that, in its former life, was home to an organic herb farm. Parking is plentiful and free. The ceremony will be held at the southeast corner of the property, overlooking the Puget Sound, followed by dinner and dancing at the main lawn, among the evergreens.

Puget Sound weather is typically dry and warm during August (70s – 80s), but a light sweater is recommended for after sunset. As the ceremony and reception will be held on the grass, please feel free to wear comfortable shoes.

Out-of-town guests should fly into the Seattle/Tacoma International Airport (code SEA). Guests are invited to stay at either the Oxford Inn or Oxford Suites in Silverdale, which are offering special rates for the wedding weekend. Simply mention that you’re visiting for Mike and Brandy’s wedding. Reservations should be made before June 22^nd to guarantee availability and special rates. Both hotels are within minutes of the venue by car. Plus, there are plenty of bedrooms in the quaint farmhouse at the venue for overnight guests for no cost. Breakfast will be provided the next morning for all overnight guests, so please feel free to stay if you wish! Starbucks is a five-minute walk and Monica’s Waterfront Bakery and Café a five-minute drive from the venue.
